Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use Family Home Finder, we collect the information you provide during the chat conversation (metro area, budget, school preferences, etc.) and your email address if you provide one at checkout. We store chat messages and generated reports in our database.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to generate your home search report and deliver it to you. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. Your chat data is not used to train AI models.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) for generating research and reports. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Stripe for payment processing. We do not store credit card numbers. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• RapidAPI / Realtor.com for sold home data. No personal information is sent to this service.
• Resend for email delivery.
• Railway for hosting and database.

Data retention

Chat sessions that do not result in a paid report are deleted after 30 days. Paid reports are retained for 5 years so you can access them via your report link. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@familyhomefinder.com.

Cookies

We use localStorage to store a session ID (a random identifier with no personal information). We do not use tracking cookies or analytics.
